Shakespeare…under the stars…in Oak Park
“Much Ado About Nothing”

A classic comedy about two couples, with a bit of everything—romance, humor,
treachery, “a showdown between the sexes.” In period costume.

When:

Thursday, June 26th - 8:00 pm

Cost:

$22 - Everyone buys their own ticket at the gate

Place:

"Austin Gardens" 1 block north of Lake Street and 3 blocks west of Oak Park Ave in Oak Park - the theatre gate access is on Forest Ave (across from the Visitors Center at 158 Forest Ave) click here for a map.

Directions:

Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) to Harlem Ave, exit north until Lake St. Turn east at Lake St and continue 3 blocks to Forest Ave then proceed north 1 more block. Parking is available in the village parking garage and the 19th Century Club lot on the east side of the street.

Bring:

a blanket and/or a chair (or rent a chair for $2),
also you can bring in food and wine!

Dinner:

Before the show we are planning on meeting at "Poor Phil’s" for dinner at 6 pm - located at 139 S. Marion St, at the intersection of Marion and Pleasant Streets in Oak Park. Afterwards we’ll walk 2 blocks to Austin Garden.
