Michigan Bike Ride & Wine Tasting
Sunday, May 18th

10:00 AM (cst) MEET, 10:40 AM (cst) WE RIDE!

Sample some of SW Michigan’s best wines – you can visit five wineries while riding just a bit over 12 miles. It’s in Berrien County, Michigan, just over the Indiana Michigan state line. Start and finish is at the Round Barn Winery. Non-riders are welcome to make the winery circuit by car, too. Bring some picnic type items to eat after the ride.

We'll meet at 10 AM Chicago time, (11 AM Michigan time) at the Round Barn Winery. Ride at 10:40 Chicago time, (11:40 Michigan). That should get us to the first winery around 12:00 local time when they open and start serving. LOUSY WEATHER? No problem - we’ll go wine tasting by car. This event is for drivers as well as bike riders! We’ll need a driver or two to help carry our purchases, anyhow.

Directions to Round Barn Winery by Entering Michigan on I-94:

    1. At exit 12, turn off onto Ramp (Sawyer)
    2. Turn LEFT (East) onto Sawyer Rd 2.4 miles
    3. Turn LEFT North) onto California Rd 1.0 mile
    4. Turn RIGHT (East) onto Browntown Rd 5.0 miles
    5. Turn LEFT (North) onto Hills Road Rd 0.9 miles. Entrance is a small lane on the right.
