Sanctuary Ski Club’s Bike Ride of the Month! Are you ready to pump? Virgil L. Gilman Trail Aurora to Sugar Grove Sunday, August 24th

9:00 AM MEET, 9:30 AM WE RIDE!

This shady 10.5 paved trail runs from the southeastern part of Aurora to Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove. The eastern section of the trail crosses Waubonsee Creek and the Fox River as it runs through residential neighborhoods on the south side of Aurora. The western section passes through woodlands along Blackberry Creek. This ride will come in somewhere around 22 miles altogether. Here are some things that you might want to bring on the ride:

BICYCLE LOCK • WATER BOTTLE • MONEY • SPARE INNER TUBE • 2-WAY RADIO

HELMET & SEAT BAG or RACK (FOR CARRYING THE ABOVE)

Just show up, meet the group, and we'll ride (SHOW AND GO).

For directions: take Ogden Ave Route 34 west past Eola Rd to Hill Ave Route 30, turn right on Hill Ave (which turn into Ohio St in Aurora) and go north for 1/3 mile, then turn left into the trail enterance - there is limited parking.
