Bike Ride…. & Apres' Bar of the Month at…

12 Noon - We'll meet at Starbucks Coffee shop (next to Arcada Theater) on Route 64 (North Ave), near the river, and leave at 12:30 for a 26-mile round trip bike ride along Fox River Trail going North past Tekawitha woods to Elgin. The trail along the river is mostly paved, and has one short hill and one long hill. Tekawitha woods is a great place to catch one's breath, take a stroll to the Nature Center, or relax.

Then, at 3:00 we'll head over to Rookies' and enjoy their Special Anniversary 1/2 lb Burgers for $1.

Whether you're biking or NOT stop by and join Sanctuary & friends relaxing at Rookies' sports bar with a wide variety of domestic, imported and draft beers to choose from. Rookies has been serving St. Charles and Kane County since 1998. It has one of the largest menu's in the area serving tantalizing burgers, scrumptious sandwiches, super salads, delicious BBQ ribs or chicken, Mexican, pasta, steaks and more!

Directions: Rookies the bar, is located on Route 64 at 1145 W. Main Street, in St. Charles, 630-513-0681 (Approximately 1 ½ miles West of the Fox River). For the bike ride we'll meet at Starbucks 101 E. Main St. at the corner of Route 64 and 1st Ave. Just behind Starbucks, on the south side, along 1st Ave there is parking available (this is just east of the Fox River).
